DonPurpose:

To encourage  educational research focused on an aspect of P-12 school-university partnerships and/or professional development schools related but not limited to new teacher preparation, teacher professional development, mentoring, student achievement, partnership sustainability, teacher leadership etc. The recipient of this award will be introduced at the annual Conference Awards Luncheon. Successful candidates will be expected to share their research during a breakout session at a regularly scheduled Annual Conference.

Who may apply? 

Doctoral students who are engaged in dissertation research may apply for this award. The applicant must be involved with a P-12 School University partnership or PDS-focused research/inquiry project from the inception to the presentation of the findings.  Applicants must demonstrate they have an accepted dissertation proposal and  have not yet graduated.
