While instructional coaching is critical, new teachers frequently need more than just pedagogical support; they need a lifeline for their emotional resilience and personal well-being.


This presentation delves into the vital, yet often overlooked, role of mentor teachers in safeguarding the mental health and sustainability of their new colleagues. Participants will learn to identify the early warning signs of stress and burnout and implement proactive, empathetic mentoring strategies that extend beyond lesson plans and classroom management.


This session will empower mentors to become essential advocates for their mentees' holistic well-being, ensuring new educators not only survive their initial years but thrive and remain in the profession long-term.
